Lei Hing has more than 20 years’ experience across in-house legal and corporate-secretarial roles and private legal practice. She advises individuals, businesses and organisations on commercial, corporate, property and succession matters, with a focus on providing sound legal advice, practical solutions and clear communication.

Lei Hing has worked across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, China and Malaysia, in both private practice and in-house roles. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin/ Chinese, and is able to draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and transactions in Mandarin/ Chinese.

Before establishing Petra Law, Lei Hing held senior roles in private practice and worked as in-house legal counsel in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region. Her cross-border experience, commercial perspective and understanding of business operations enable her to identify legal risk early and provide advice that is practical, timely and commercially focused.

Lei Hing holds a Master of Commercial Law from Melbourne Law School, The University of Melbourne, and an LL.B (Honours) from the University of London. She is admitted to practise in Victoria and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Governance Institute of Australia.
